Portfolio Exhibition with Craig Potton
I am excited to share an upcoming joint exhibition with Craig Potton. This unique exhibition will showcase two very different portfolios of work, exploring alternative approaches to capturing the New Zealand landscape.
The exhibition will run from the 27th of November to the 11th December at the Craig Potton Gallery, located at 255 Hardy Street, Nelson.
Portfolio Boxsets
The exhibition will feature “Portfolio Boxsets” from Craig and myself. In this digital age of website portfolios, “Portfolio Boxsets” have become a lost art form for owning and enjoying a complete set of a photographer’s work as fine art prints. Ansel Adams and Elliot Porter popularised them by offering these as collectible sets of their work. Craig and I have invested countless hours over the past year refining the printing of each photograph and creating these beautiful custom boxsets. They offer a rare opportunity to purchase a full collection of prints, showcasing each of our unique interpretations of the New Zealand landscape.
Moment & Memory: Craig Potton
Craig’s portfolio features a collection of his finest photographs, personally selected to offer a unique perspective on the New Zealand wilderness. The images range from lush, intense forest interiors to sweeping seascapes and majestic mountains.
Silence: Richard Young
Richard’s Silence portfolio presents an alternative view of the New Zealand landscape. These minimalistic photographs invites viewers to listen to the landscape, allowing the silence to speak in space between objects and the voids surrounding them.

Meet the Artists Event - 29th November
Craig and Richard will be in the Gallery from 10:30 am on Saturday, 29th of November. This is an excellent opportunity to meet them both and discuss their work.
Learn from Craig and Richard
Join Craig and myself on our five-day Landscape Photography Summit in Punakaiki. This incredible opportunity allows you to learn from Craig and I, as well as Ken Wright and Matthias Risse. The summit offers an immersive learning experience with keynote talks and infield sessions.
